Welcome to the Birds Nest - a place where you can show your support of the Thunderbirds hockey team. Each season, the best of the best are picked and given the opportunity to play the season, only needing to bring their skates to the arena.

All equipment, travel and accommodations are provided by the club; however this means the club must raise the funds each year through a myriad of fundraising events as well as generous corporate sponsorships.

Each year, 20 talented local athletes with undying passion for the game are preparing themselves for scouts and recruiters looking for the finest this sport can deliver.

20 Thunderbird players in the last six years have been given scholarships in either Canada or the United States.
